Busby Perkins+Will believes that interior design and architecture are indivisible. In fact, the firm's architectural projects often evolve
to include the interior design, based upon the success of the building's design.
The firm's mixed-use
Cross Roads project includes the corporate headquarters for
lululemon, who commissioned Busby Perkins+Will to develop
their interiors to reflect the youth and vitality that the yoga apparel company is known for. The building and interiors are targeting
LEED Silver (Core and Shell) and LEED Platinum (Commercial Interiors) certification, respectively.
The LEED Gold targeting
Buchanan Complex project at University of British Columbia involves both the buildings' revitalization and a full refit of interiors.
Busby Perkins+Will also includes an industrial design division. This combined approach provides the firm's designs with distinctive
characteristics, fine detailing and innovative technical solutions.
The recent
TELUS House atrium benefited from all services: architectural, industrial and interior design. What began as a
seismic upgrade for the complex resulted in an award-winning feature space recognized for it's technical refinement and
elegant detailing.
